Dr. Walter Orenstein, Professor of Infectious Diseases at the Emory University School of Medicine, was recently interviewed on the Critically Speaking Podcast. He discussed the benefits of vaccines and how they work, the current concerns being raised regarding certain vaccines, and the conversations taking place by those both for and against vaccinations. He makes a point of stating that while the decision to vaccinate is an individual right, there are many facts and factors that those seeking exemptions should consider. Vaccines protect communities as a whole and not just the individuals that receive them. The full interview with Dr. Orenstein can be found here.
